Native Hoofed Animal Enclosure

Pretty cool! Kind of a quiet little corner of a big enclosure. The Elks were nice enough to get up and come see us. No Buffalo though. Saw a marmot too and took a pic with him.

Great place to see elk and bison. Due to new regulations set out by the USDA, the public is no longer allowed to feed the animals, but you can still look and take pictures!

Nice area. Do to time of year and weather no animals to be seen.

EDIT: the Buffalo are back outside and they have babies. The signs still say “ no feeding”. Closed right now and you can not see any animals. Sign says it is due to government guidelines. ( Covid?)

I've been going here for over 40 years and I still love it! I grew up with my parents taking me here, then I had kids & took them all the time. My kids are grown now but I still go there, sometimes all by myself, to enjoy being outdoors and feed the majestic buffalo and elk carrots and apples.
