Since most people who will leave a review of a police department will be for negative reasons, I thought i would write one.nUnfortunately we have had to call the Independence Police Department more than once for issues at our place of business. Every single time they arrived in a timely and they were very professional to the party involved and to us as well. They even followed up with us to keep us informed.nThank you IPD for a job well done!!

Car 130 was going about 55 in a 35 today March 7th around 1400 hrs. As someone that works with law enforcement I’m appalled by how they were driving. Might want to talk to the two white male officers that were driving the vehicle and tell them to follow protocol.

They don't take children's saftey into high enough standards.nnAn hour and a half missing isn't long enough for them to be concerned about.nnDispatch is nice.
