Saved my night. Looked everywhere for a heating element for a water heater. Stopped in there on a try and boom..5 mins in and out. Saved my day. Super friendly. And the dogs cute.. I'll being going there more often.
I really want to like this place, it's a locally owned small town business nestled in the community. The problem isn't that I have to pay a bit of a premium to shop here, that's normally okay for locally owned businesses, in this case my sales tax exemption for agricultural purposes is not honored. And I just can't see paying nearly 10% sales tax when I can go to any other locally owned business who will recognize the Missouri Form 149. I can't count the number of times I've had to drive to buchheit's or Lowe's and I could have simply stopped at Thomure. It's my hope that they put a farmer friendly sign when, or if, they start taking tax exemption forms. So I know I can start shopping there on a regular basis.
The wood is all dry snd the help not so friendly
Highly recommend Thomure for local supplies! Laura and crew are great help and the prices are very competitive.
