Green Hills of Platte Wildlife Preserve

Nice area. Gravel paths with some mulch paths. Shorter distances.

Great trails with less people. Unless there is another entrance there is a bear of a hill to get to some easier walking trails but I love it for some good exercise with the kids. There are also some wooded trails that I love. Directly on the trails I’ve not had issues but I have seen broken glass at the edges of some trails, so be mindful.

Excellent spot for all things nature! Due to some construction, it's wasn't the easiest to get to, but GPS got us there fineud83dudc4dud83cudffbnThere is no map labeling any trails. There is, what looks to be a main gravel trail, but off shoots of wood chip trails that all seems to lead you back- at some point- to the larger gravel one. ud83eudd37ud83cudffb‍♀ufe0fnIt was fun to explore with kiddos and (if you're local) is comparable to Parkville Nature Sanctuary in views of nature.nThe area seemed to just go on forever, so being our first time there we didn't go much farther than a mile before turning around.nFlat walks, some inclines and great views.nParking is limited and there is a little gazebo with edging to sit on for a water or snack break.

That hill will get you! Look out for deer AND TICS. Bat houses and a range of different styles of trails. Love it!

Beautiful small trail. Love all the wild vegetation growing. Very family friendly.
