Had a firearm stolen from me, I gave both officers my make model and SN, specifically stating: FNP40, the SN, chambered in 40 S&W. I had to show them the car and where it was placed as they didn't bother to ask, They finish the report and leave. 2 weeks later I receive a call from the police chief asking me about the firearm..... says it's a S&W right? I said no it is an FN chambered in 40S&W, he asks so is it an FN or is it a S&W?, I just asked why? Did you find it? he explains to me that the report was filed improperly and that he needed to refile this report and asked me for the SN, and then states that the SN was filed incorrectly. This was all a shock to me. not only did they mis handle a theft report, it was for a stolen hand gun! And to add to that the officers had no interest in paying attention to to the information coming out of my mouth during the initial report, also neither of the three including the chief knew what I meant by 40S&W after clearly stating the make and model. 40S&W is standard for local PD. Right? And yes i learned my lesson!
I had a very bad experience with a police officer while in court today. Her name is Aimee DiGeronimo and she completely ignores citizens rights. She is very rude and cold hearted. I honestly think the only reason she became a cop is to bully people. She refuses to grant citizens their basic rights and tries to play a 'bad cop' role. I hope the police department makes a change and hires people that want to HELP the public and not HURT them. So glad I don't live in Riverside so I don't have to deal with these pathetic, insecure police officers such as Aimee. Good luck.
