I called the police because Perkins Automotive had our vehicle for 5 weeks, never started on the work, wouldn't let us pick up the vehicle without paying for work they didn't do. Chief of police Gurin and officer wouldn't listen to anything I said, kept talking to us in a rude manner, threatening to arrest me if we didn't get off the property and leave without our vehicle. They bully the wrong people and support the scum.
My boyfriend and I were driving home to Omaha NE from Arkansas, and we stopped in Peculiar MO for gas. My boyfriend is infamous for leaving the keys in the ignition and I am infamous for locking the doors, always! So with that mix we locked the keys in our car! We contacted the Peculiar police department and asked if an officer could help us get back into our car. In no time officer Kirkpatrick was there to save the day and he was so kind about helping! Thank you so much Peculiar PD!
My daughter and I were locked out of our car for over three hours and Chief Gurin and Officer Catron where very helpful with assisting us in getting back into our car.
I dont approve of the distracted driving the public service officers are implementing at this department. An officer assaulted a citizen with his motor vehicle potentially causing serious bodily harm or worse.
Officer commits a traffic offense and gets paid for it. Yet a civilian would get charged with attempted murder.nOfficer wouldn't even apologize to the cyclist.
