Left a brand new, out-of-the box white dress shirt for press only on 5/8. It was needed for a wedding on 5/11. Picked up the shirt on 5/10 only to find stains or heat burns on the collar and a black stain on the front. We were referred to the owner, Chris Marchi, who said he would clean the shirt but could not be ready until Monday 5/13 after the wedding. Not sure if the stains could even be removed. The owner would not compensate for the cost of the shirt. After we insisted he agreed to credit the cleaning charge which will take 3 days. This is a dry cleaners with an offsite cleaning facility. Recommend that you do not use this cleaner... choose one instead with the equipment and staff on site. We are now rushing out to purchase a new shirt in time for the wedding
I went to Courtesy once and they shrunk beyond repair a wool shell that was part of a 3 piece outfit that was very expensive. After trying to stretch it for 8 weeks, it was a rag--ruining the whole outfit. No offer of compensation. Then I accidently sent a pair of black pants ($350.00) to be cleaned. They lost them, but first they told me they were in two different places, and they would send them. After 6 weeks they don't know where they are..This time they will compensate me or I will take them to small claims court. My husband is a good customer, only a few things lost, but he won't be anymore.
This is the second time I’ve come during business hours and you’re closed. I’ll be switching cleaners.
