If you are looking for a historical landmark that is easy to get to, this is the one for you. There is a bench to sit at nearby and a well cared for park. There is really nothing else around. Breckenridge, Missouri is a very small town where the community of approximately 400.
Learning the more realistic history of this Haun'ting place from local historian and former mayor of Chillicothe was memorable.
Dont go to the actual site if it has rained unless your in a viechle that won't get stuck in the mud.
A sad part of history but nice to visit this peaceful place.
