Cool to look at but it's never open
What a wonderful find! Bring your train loving family here. The lovely people that run the museum are full of information. They can give detailed tours or just a quick blurb. They know the history of all the trains that came to the area and pretty much the history of the area itself. The museum is small and is run on donations. You do get to go inside a caboose!
Polite folks. Gave us a lovely tour and gave lots of info on the town
It has a hobby store if you need items for a H O model railroad. They use the funds to maintain the museum.
Museum was closed the day we visited but they were preparing for an event the next day and gave us a personal tour. It was great getting to see the different train history and the train room with all the model trains was really fun.
