Kansas Highway Patrol

While in college, me and some friends had an opportunity to drive out west. Being the guy that I was, I was determined to drive as far as I could. After 24 hours straight, Hays was as far as I would be allowed to go, as I was pulled over by the KHiP. I don't remember the officer's name, but he was very polite, and though he wrote me a ticket for failure to maintain a lane, he likely prevented me from having a wreck.nn5 stars for doing his job.n-1 star for not letting some out of state, broke college kid off with a warning.nnNow that I am older and wiser, I do appreciate an adult exercising some authority.
