The Trego County Historical Society Museum is full of all kinds of treasures! You can spend hours there and Marjean, the director, is helpful and full of knowledge about the exhibits. For a small town, Wakeeney is lucky to have this treasure trove of its history! Definitely worth a visit!
At this time of the year they are celebrating the 70th year of the Christmas of the high plains and they have 70 Christmas trees marked one for each of the 70 year,.
Nice place great exhibits
This gem is worth the stop! They are expanding and the murals on the ways are AMAZING!
