Chalet Apartments

Could be better? It's not terrible. Roaches are an issue - They fumigated my apartment before I moved in. The roaches still are an issue. Not too wild but I don't like roaches. Two windows were cracked when I moved in. Management took around two weeks to fix them. I heard gunshots the other night so that's a bit unsettling. It's not the worst area of town. Not sunshine and rainbows but it's not too bad. Management is really slow on things, The hot water isn't really hot. But it's a roof over my head so I can't complain

If I could have rated the apartments 0 I would have. Totally ghetto and unruly company all the time. They are located right across from the death trap club The Place. Definitely 1,000,000 thumbs down..

I live on main floor. Stairwells are very noisy and people around my apartment are very loud and disrespectful at ALL hours of day and night. I am a student and I need time to study or test. Not a good environment to do this in so I try to study with headphones on. At least that way I can pick my distraction. However with having a record they gave me a chance and I can appreciate that. I am grateful for a place to lay my head so I don't complain. Not half bad inside but you will have to thoroughly clean up the place before you move in

Not as quiet as I would like

Great Mid Range apartment complex. Not the cheapest around but certainly not the most expensive. Great maintenance folks, not great security officers. Buildings and grounds are cleaned weekly, office staff is very friendly, new laundry machines, soda machine is a gamble at best. The apartment doors open on shared hallways so noise can be an issue. Stairs with no ramps or elevators so if you have trouble with stairs look elsewhere. Well lit in most areas (one street light along sidewalk is out). Plenty of parking. Water, Hot Water and trash service included in rent. Gas heat with electric appliances. Take a second floor apartment. The third floor ones are not well insulated and the water from the boiler does not get hot (unless you enjoy showering at 2am when no one is using it) The basement apartments are partially underground so they tend to hold onto humidity. Central heat and air in all apartments.
