The history.
It's closed like everything right now. I assume the inside of the houses are really nice but who knows? It's nice to see the buildings preserved, unlike the Indian school just south of me, north of Newkirk, OK.
Everything is kept in very good condition. A lot of information that I didn't know. Nice walking path next to the site along the Kaw River.
Typical of a number of Indian Missions. It's a fine old stoned structure, bit was closed when we were there.
I would encourage everyone to check out the historic sites in Council Grove. I had so much fun and learned a lot about the area.
