Olathe Police Department

My son had called them because of me being depressed during covid19 so 3 officers made contact with me. Two younger ones just stood by while the older gentleman talked with me forgot the officers name bald head in his 40s. They were all professional the way they handle the situation. I have a attempted suicide past. The Sargent came out with a laptop and connected with crisis officer Jordan. After talking decided for me to call Jordan back at a specific time. I live in Jefferson on the lake apartment. Moved here in December 2019. I ask about the noise level here they said it was quiet. I want to Thank all the officers help and Compassion in my crisis. Everytime there is an issue the non ER line deputy's are rude. I know that you all have more important things to do but there is no reason to be rude and hang up on someone who's reporting something. Why have the non emergency line if your not going to check on calls or hang up on people? I hardly ever report anything but the 2 times I have this is the service I've received and its absolutely piss poor.

Accidently locked myself out of my car and they came and helped me out withing 20 minutes. Thanks guys!

Called the police when we finally had enough of our neighbors keeping us up all hours of the night. They're response was to drive over. Walk up the stairs. Stop. Then walk down the stair, talk to a fellow officer for a minute then leave.. I am in shock.. they did absolutely nothing.
