Long John Silver's

the whole order except one item was wrong, were shorted an item, fries were soggy and just warm, with allthat it took longer than ive ever spent in a non busy drive through

Only taking cash tonight, but one of their employees is parked so that you can't get out of line and have to sit through it even if you can't buy it. We sat through, went and got cash, and came back. They were out of half of what we asked for, and after we got back on the interstate, we realized they had not given us silverware or napkins. All three of us had not been to Long John Silver's in years. We agreed that we might try it again in 20 years. If we happen to find ourselves drunk enough.... Also, no mask or gloves during the pandemic with cash only.

I am and always have been a massive fan of long John silvers. Our family eats at this establishment roughly once a month. It’s not easy for us, as we live over an hour away. We love the food, the flavors, and mostly the crunchies. Tonight, my husband made the hour long drive to get us dinner at Long Johns. He ordered the 8 piece family meal with extra crunchies. He was told the crunchies might be a problem because they had been “cleaned out”. They toldnHim they would do what they could. He proceeded to order an 8 piece family meal, which according to the menu, comes with 8 pieces of chicken or fish, hush puppies, 2 sides of choice and always, always, crunchies in the boxes. When he arrived home(yes, he made the man mistake of not even trying to check the bag/box)we were missing 1/2 sides, and there was not a single crunchie to be found in the box or bag. I tried calling the hays Kansas location to let them know they had shorted us roughly half our meal(in our family crunchies are as important as the chicken or fries) but they did not answer the phone. I called 3 times between the hours of 9:20-9:45. According to the website, they are open until 10pm but refused to answer my calls, which means they have yet to right this mistake they made in our order. I love to give Long John Silvers high ratings because I love the food, but this is the worst experience I’ve had in my life with the chain.

I have TRIED to eat here 4 different times this year, and every single time I went, they claimed they were closed, drive-thru as well! AND, I was there at a different time each time, well before what the closing time is posted on Google Maps which is 10pm! Seems to me, like this place is run by a bunch of LAZY TEENAGERS WHO DON'T WANT TO WORK, AND MAKE THEIR OWN HOURS! Very bad business practice!! I used to love going here, but after last night (05/26/20) 4 times in a row of being turned away, I AM DONE!

Terrible place to eat. Ice cream machine down, credit card machine down, no bills over 20 even with a 47$ order. No change. Missing items with all 4 meals. Only half the fish had breading on it. Absolutely horrible experience.
