Action Plumbing

I am someone who wants to support local businesses. I don't typically write bad reviews unless I feel like I really got taken advantage of. I live with my daughter, and we called them to ask them to preventatively scope our main drain, as the previous owner said she does this every 3-5 years because of tree roots.nnWe were told they would send someone out to do this. When the technician arrived, he asked where the blockage was, and we told him there was no blockage, we just wanted him to scope the drain to be sure there were no tree roots obstructing. He said they don't do this, as they don't have cameras on their equipment. He was on my porch for less than 5 minutes.nnThey sent us a bill for $50.00. I called, and they refused to discount or remove the charges.nnI feel like they took advantage of us, and that the person I spoke with on the phone should know what services they provide. I think they just wanted to get my money.nnI would advise you to find a local, fair plumbing company (not Action Plumbing) to help you.

Called them in the morning and they were out that afternoon. I was going to install a new toilet DIY...after removing the old one ran into problems. Needed a new flange... decided I needed an expert. They also installed a new shut off valve. Took 1 he. So far so good. Appreciated their promptness and knowledge.

Tobias did a great job replacing the corroded and leaking drainage piping in the crawl space under our home. He replaced all the drains right up to the sinks and toilets with minimal damage to walls, floors and vanities. I felt we got a job well worth what it cost.

Today Connor from Action Plumbing came and installed new faucets in two of our bathrooms. He did a fantastic job and suggested we replace the shut-off valves also since the type we had are old and prone to leaking. He replaced those also. Couldn't be happier.

PLEASE READ:nYesterday I called Action Plumbing to come to my home and clear my drains. The reason I called them was they were the first one to come up on my Internet search.nThey came out within 2 hours which was very good!nThe guy that showed up (who I can't remember his name said it would cost about 350.00 to clear our main sewer line and that he would wave the initial 60.00 service charge. I explained to him what the issue was (2 bathroom sinks drain slow and the drain in our laundry room was wet around it. After he cleaned the main line i asked if he was finished and he said if you want i can clear the 2 bathroom drains and i agreed thinking it was part of the original price of 350.00. He then told me we should have our main line Hydro Cleaned because they would not warranty this work if we didn't have this done!nHe told me this would cost an additional $1600.00 I told him I would have to thing about it because i thought to myself that seemed high.nAfter all of this my bill was $620.00 to clear 3 drains! And to top it off one of our bathrooms still drains slow!nI feel I was completely taken advantage of! He was only at out home for less than 2 hours! that is $310.00 per hour and one of the sinks still drain slow!nThis seems way over priced! This was not after hours or the weekend!nI then called Diamond Plumbing and asked them the price to Hydro Clean our main line and they said it would be around $600.00 not $1600.00 and when I explained to them what Action did and the Price I paid they said it was WAY HIGH!nSO.... I have never took the time to send a review on anything but I felt I needed to let other people know what happened to me so it wouldn't happen to anyone else.....nGOOD LUCK!
