Take your time, visit often, no hurry here.

Great variety of animals not often seen in zoos. The exhibits are designed in a way that make you feel much closer to the animals than you feel at most zoos. The African exhibit does a great job of giving a feel of the actual habitat of these animals.nnThe only downside is there is a lot of construction that detracts from the feel of natural habitats. Also, exhibits are very spread out so there is a lot of walking with nothing to look at.nnDefinitely a great way to spend a few hours learning about some cool animals and getting your steps in!

Great experience. Some places within the zoo were closed to observe compliance with pandemic protocols.

They have done a great job remodeling this entrance! The whole area is really nice & all the shops/food venues are beautiful. Can't wait for the COVID-19 restrictions to be lifted so we can see inside all the new buildings & exhibits. We even went to see the new Sea Lion enclosure... Absolutely amazing!!! Thank You Kewit, you've done a great job!

The Omaha Zoo is a great place for family of all ages. They have a wide variety of animals from many parts of the world. I reccomend this place to those who want to go on a mini adventure. Its full of excitement and with great food all around the park. Many visitors favor the penguins in the aquarium, as well as the sea lions. Watch the elegant elephants roam their habitat, and try to spot some ostrich eggs along the way. Lions and tigers and bear oh my, but they can best be seen in my opinion, in the evening when folks start heading out. Be an elephant and dont forget, their gift shop is open and full of souvenirs for the kiddos!
