I called to have clothes picked up and cleaned the same day. I am between homes. No car. So they accomadated every need. So happy with service. Thank you. I am staying at a hotel that didn't provide a wash/dryer to public. So very happy and grateful. They were so close by and nice about everything during these trying times.
My mother went into the laundromat because she needed her comforter washed. When she went to pick it up, the credit card machine was down. She had $15 in cash, and the total was $20.33. They refused to give her a discount, and tried to demand that she go to the gas station and give them cash or give them her credit card number. We have been burned before, so of course she refused to do that. Owner threw a fit and made my mom repeat her number twice— over $5.33. She kept her word to bring the $5.33 today, and the lady working said she had to take the money from her own pocket to balance the register. ABSOLUTELY ABSURD.
Good machines, but not 100% clean. Some homeless guy bathing in a laundry tub. Kinda sketchy.
Friendly staff, clean area. Tokens also used with debit card and cash money. Yes it has restroom, vending machines, TV's, free WiFi. Otherwise this location does not use cleartoken unlike Ankeny and the Des Moines location on the east side by Little Cesar's Pizza. Cleartoken is an app you can add money use a debit or major credit card. Just do a Google search and it shows the site. Hope this helps!
There is never any dryers open and the sale of half price laundry is a myth. The restroom is always closed. It is fairly clean though.
