I usually visit this store at least twice a week. I’m very thankful to have such a great hardware store so close to my house. Everyone is always very helpful, and very friendly. It’s extremely rare that I have to hunt someone down and ask for help.
Staff always helps me find what I need. Whenever I need advice, I get it from the knowledgeable employees. People their seem to know lots about gardening, landscaping, painting, etc. friendly culture their. Never be afraid to ask for help.
I've been a loyal shopper of this Ace Hardware for years, but recent experiences have made it clear that this location does not care about public health or the safety of their customers. Previously, staff have been masked and courteous. Today, only one of the three employees was masked and while I was standing in line, properly distancing, one of the unmasked employees brushed past me close enough to touch without even bothering to request that I move or adjust. I am incredibly disappointed.
Convenient as I live in Beaverdale. Prices are higher than Home Depot, Menards but they have all the essentials.
Stopped in for several items, normally I would go to the one in University but I was in the area so stopped by this one instead. After getting home, I looked at my receipt and was charged for 4 pieces of wood, even though I only bought one and had them cut it into four pieces. Then the paint pens I bought from there did not work. On top of that, I had to remind the cashier he missed a can of spray paint I put on the counter. Also consider it wasn't busy yet I had to hunt down an employee to help me, on a Saturday. Sorry excuse for a store.
