Sunflower Cleaners

Sunflower Cleaners is a small family owned cleaner very close to my house which is the main reason I utilize their services when I need them. I've used them for 3+ years and they're A-OK in my book.. Cleaning & Alterations: I've brought in some pants to be shortened and Sunflower has done a good job of giving me exactly what I requested. Cleaning and pressing of shirts is $3.99 a shirt which is pricey for me. However, I've never had an issue and everything has been returned to me damage free, cleaned and pressed well. Service: The staff has been very friendly and pleasant on every visit. The turnaround times for cleaning and pressing of shirts is about 2-3 business days depending on their volume. Alterations has been 3-5 business days. They offer expedited services but I've never had a need to use them. If I was wearing suits to work daily like I did back in the day, I might consider looking elsewhere because of the price but fortunately that's not the case. They're pricey for me but consistent with their high quality cleaning and the convenient location is a major factor to why I come back here when necessary. You can bring your clothes here knowing that it will be taken care of. Enjoy!

Dropped off 2 dresses (due to fast turnaround) one of them a gown I needed for the next day to an important gala event. Gentleman who assisted was nice, quoted me higher price than others but I agree for the expedited turn around. Gown only needed to be pressed from waist down, second dress pressed in full. A simple job I could've done myself, but since I wanted perfection I decided to take them to a professional. This place ended up being a terrible mistake. Picked them up the next day (woman was there) who had no customer service. She placed them on the rack, I attempted to open plastic bag to inspect job, and she rudely tells me "what are u looking for?" I said "wrinkles" which indeed I found on gown. I asked her if she could steam it and her answer was "we don't have any machines, everything is put away on Saturday" (if so, why are they open on sat?) she then had the nerve to question me on price I had paid saying "who gave u this price? Who was here? This dress is supposed to be more" Well a little more and I could buy a new dress! She attempted to say u couldn't really see the wrinkling. If I can see them, anyone else can! So I just left upset, didn't wanna argue with rude person and was not going to write any bad reviews BUT when I got home and saw the second dress!!! OMG wrinkles everywhere and top it all off they damaged it, it was left with fuzzy pills all over bottom! These were brand NEW dresses, tags were just removed right before drop off. I was unable to wear my dress Saturday and ended up having to buy new dress! If this place cannot do one of the simplest jobs which is getting rid of wrinkles, then how can they even dry clean anything? I would've been better off steaming them myself, would've never damaged my dresses and treated them with the care they deserved. My clothes came out of this cleaners looking worse than how I brought them in!

I didnt not have nor did I see the great customer service that others experienced. I brought my pants to get rehemed on the left side. Before coming I spoke to the owner nephew and he advise to come in on Monday because he couldnt take it, I thought that was wired but didn't think to much of it then I proceeded to ask if they where able to rehem my pants he said yes. I take my pants down there and was told it would be ready on Thursday. I pick up my pants to find that I wasnt notified about alterations that I didn't ask for. The owner stated that her nephew didnt know what he was doing. I then asked why wasn't I called to confirm what I need to be done since her nephew wasn't sure. She had the audacity to get rude with me and told me that how they do things. I didnt get an apology just a total Very poor customer service I would advise other to stay away from this place. If I could give it a no start I would the place also smelled like horrible
