Maid Rite Ankeny catered our state fair themed labor day party and the food was excellent! The owners were great to work with from the first phone call & order to the prompt delivery on a holiday weekend. We ordered grinders, corn dogs, tenderloins and of course maid-rites. Everything was delicious, hot & fresh! The owner even texted me after he dropped off the food to ask if I needed to borrow tables! We received Iowa small town service in the busy suburb of Ankeny. I highly recommend Maid Rite Ankeny for a casual dinner or for catering a big party. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Terrible service. Cashier argues with customers... very rude.Order a couple of meals they were rang up right but,made wrong . Thought they would remake them. They just scraped the sandwich off and gave it a new bun. Not worth the hassle or money. FYI don't purchase gift cards they don't know how to put the money on them or take it off. Don't waste your money and if you do keep your receipts.

It seems in like whenever I get close to a maid-rite I have to stop and have one.the ankeny maid-rite didn't disappoint the service was great and pretty fast.

Food was good but in my opinion, way over priced. I got the Mega-Rite, Onion Rings, Chocolate Shake and Rootbeer all for $18. That seems a bit expensive if you ask me. The food is tasty and good but that has to be the most I have ever paid for a single fast food drive thru meal. I have picked up similar meals in Ankeny for half that much. Times are tough and money is hard to come by. It will be a long time before I come back.

Service is slow, slow, slow..... The excuse is the pandemic. I'm tired of that excuse - the problem is the manager (owner) just stands around at the cash register rather than taking care of customers.nnI have eaten maid rites since I was a little boy. SO, I know what they should taste like - but at the Ankeny location something is missing. They do not taste like they should. Oh, that's right, it's the pandemic.
