I went in the store to exchange a hot water heater part that my son had purchased earlier. The greeter found out my problem and took me to the department and person I needed in the store so I could make sure to get the correct one and then back up to the service desk for return with a smile. Wow! Best customer service

Got a Home Depot credit card for a discount on three chairs. Returned 2 and tried to pay in store for third. After receiving a text confirmation I thought we were done. No statement in mail and no withdrawal from my bank. Two months later I get an email statement charging me interest an late fee. Tried again to pay with a debit card they couldn't process it. Took months to settle and they still haven't sent the credit I'm do. Don't get a Home Depot card. The processing center for Citi Bank in Louisville has a poor reputation on Google and it is well deserved. Does not reflect on Home Depot or their products.

Ordered a new dryer from Home Depot in Ankeny on Sept 28. Delivery was set for Oct 9. Long time without a dryer but whatever. Online to see if they had an estimate on delivery time and shows delivery has been changed to Oct 31. Called the store and girl says. Yeah that been happening lately. No sorry, no phone call, nothing! I’m furious! What kind of service is this????????

I've spent a great deal of time as well as money at the Home Depot. This was my first experience chasing someone down that might help me find something. No Pro's at the desk, it's a weekend I'm told. Well that adds up, when do most people need a pro? I went to 5 different people then finally left. Very disappointing.

In store shopping is probably at least four stars. I like that the web-site tells you what isle to find the product in when you get there. I like the self-checkout option to mail yourself a receipt (handy when you need to look it up later). If you ask someone there, they usually help you out. They usually have the products I need, and at a competitive price.nnThe reason it's not five stars, is because it's almost impossible to get through to anyone here on the phone. When I repeatedly tried to check on their rental tools online, over several days. It was nothing but buffering, after I selected the tool, so I had to call them to find out about rental prices and availability.nn--Tried to call them on the phone. An automated system connected me to tool rentals. The phone rang for 5 minutes and 45 seconds, but no one picked up. --Tried to call customer service. The phone rang for 3 minutes and 25 seconds, then someone picked up the phone and tried to dial a number, then abruptly hung up as I tried to talk.
