Walnut Street School

My son goes here. They have IB program where student learn on their own way instead of traditional lesson from the books and multiple choice questions test. They have no homework and students learn by playing games, and they still pass Iowa standards tests. My son pass with above average test score and meet college readiness. I have a hard time getting my son to learn multiply tables but he memories it after 3 months from Mr. Bloom class in 3rd grade. He also often tell me different cultures in different countries that he learned in class. He also learned Chinese at this school.
