Don't bother calling if your child is missing. Especially if he/she is black. They wont show up. This is a white town. And they don't care. Also watch out by King David Lodge. If you are driving in the afternoon and dont drive a new vehicle you will be pulled over for no reason in a second. Wouldnt call these people again if I was on fire.
Was asulted at adventureland park and they said they cant do anything even tho I had a black and blue eye. Said I didnt have witnesses but the security had seen very thing and also took multiple witness statements. But yet was told to leave the park. Its not much of a black and blue eye but its just the fact that I get asulted and nothing was done to the attacker. I even wanted to press charges but didnt have a witness they said.
Consistantly using 5 vehicles to arrest anyone, consistantly blocks all traffic into a Casey's when ever there is a problem there they just block everything off.
After losing a heavy load on the road, officers that responded, and a passer by helped lift the heavy load back into our truck. I can't thank them enough for their help. This is a police department that deserves recognition for what they do.
Evidently there is a missing boy from another county and someone on my daughters facebook had stated that he was hiding at our place.nMy daughter let me know what had happened while I was at work. I called the Altoona PD and they explained the entire situation. It is comforting to know that the officers serving Altoona are very thorough and respectful.nThe boy, however, was NOT in our home, hopefully he will be found and his parents can be at ease.
