Very historic and clean
This is a quiet and well kept piece of history. I was surprised the door was unlocked, and it was encouraged for you to walk in. It would be nice if the wood plaque was updated to make it easier to read.
Great place for history and to just enjoy nature.
Old fort with no crowds or parking problems
This stone building brings the essence of the Iowa settlers in their conflicts with the First Nations into the present.
