If I could give this company zero starts I would. Do not go here very unprofessional. You’re better off living on the street then renting though them.

I will leave this writing here ,, I am trying to deliver apt 405 melody Ln apt today, 27, to receive my deposit check back ,, Maquezy the maneger making an excuse that I must wait 30 days and then she says that I have no right to demand money deposit when I left the apt ,, no one answers the calls in the office, I saw her in the parking lot today and she just left ,, trying to get Mike's number to solve this situation, they really should change this handle just no You must play with family money, you ask for deposit money before you should not pay it later !! I have all the emails !!

***READ BEFORE SIGNING PAPERWORK***nnTerrible. I don't know where to start. When I came for the tour the apartment shown looked great. I was quickly in constant communication with McKenzie Standley, one of the leasing agents. She was amazing during the approval process. After that it all went down hill. Once we were moved in we started to notice a lot of flaws. The workers they had renovate the property weren't professional. I honestly think anyone with the supplies and access to you tube could have done the same quality of work. Not to mention the building isn't even finished. The washer/dryer that the building was supposed to have by September 1st still isn't set up. Our dishwasher wasn't ready, it was missing a piece, they later the next week came in the apartment WITHOUT NOTICE to put it in but still it leaked and fell out of its counter space multiple times. We also noticed when we were moving stuff in that the apartment already had bugs. With everything listed above we were in frequent contact with the office. The staff there has no idea what communication is. Melissa, the main office person, is just one of those rude to you over the phone people you don't want to talk to. McKenzie is amazing until you're approved then drops off the face of the Earth. Once she does decide to pop back up its with old info and a VERY condescending tone. Rosalie, another leasing agent and our next door neighbor, is the only decent one. Whenever I talked to her she'd give me clear expectations and would always follow through. Shout out to you Rosalie! I would always hope it was her when I went to the office but to avoid going in to the office and running into the others I tried to pay online. It didn't work. Which they found out AFTER I called them saying hey this was supposed to come out of my account a week ago, I had the receipt to prove it, and it still hadn't come out. I eventually ended up going to the office to pay. To say the least I was not thrilled living here. Luckily I was able to get out by finding a friend to take over my part of the lease. FYI to anyone they don't have a break the lease fee and after living here for just a little over a month I see why. If they didn't trap the tenants they wouldn't make any money.

This rental company was always there for any of our needs! Last winter during the extreme cold weather our furnace had a problem they came immediately. Everyone there is super to work with and they get to know you.It has been a great experience renting from Superior Rental here in Marshalltown.
