Hands down THE best place we have ever lived. If it wasn't for our growing family, we would still be living there. The landlord, her husband, and the maintenance man truly care about Shady Creek and each and every person/s that live there and go out of their way to show that. Over the last couple years, they have come to feel more like family. Anyone that chooses to move to Shady Creek will not be disappointed. Side Note: Darla, if you are reading this, just know we miss you! Thank you for everything from the bottom of our hearts.

I absolutely loved my time living in Shady Creek Apartments. The landlord is courteous, professional, and easy to work with. Maintenance is always completed in a quick and professional manner. They always make sure to ask before entering. The rates are great (WAY better than Highpoint at Pella), the floor plan in my unit was perfect (single guy who lived in a one bedroom one bath unit), and I have no complaints besides that my unit didn’t have washer and dryer in the unit, but after a couple of weeks it really wasn’t that big of a deal. I signed a 1-year lease and had to relocate 3 months into my lease. The landlord started looking for a new tenant as soon as I told her I had to leave, and she got someone to take over the lease shortly after I moved out so that I didn’t have to pay out the lease. Oh and I wanted a garage but there weren’t any available when I first got the apartment. The landlord made note of this and a couple of weeks later she got me the garage I wanted. This is an underrated apartment complex.

I lived at Shady Creek almost 15 years ago when the present manager took over. This place was wonderful. Very professional. Security doors. Very friendly environment for myself and my daughters.Never had any problems. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom home in pella.

I moved here recently after being on the waiting list for a while and am very glad that I waited. The management is professional, helpful, and care about the complex. A simple maintenance issue was taken care of the same day. That may not always happen, but I am sure it would be taken care of as fast as possible. It has been a long time since I have felt at home in an apt. and I did right away here. Having access to the outdoors was sorely missed and now I have a patio with a view of Shady Creek with deer, birds, and other animals to watch.nWhen I moved in the apartment had been freshly painted and the carpet cleaned. It was very clean and ready to move in. This is a great place to live, especially if you are older.
