Love this place! So much history in one peaceful setting. This place has many events throughout the year and is a good time for all ages. All of the items on display are from Madison County. The staff does a really great job and they are all very knowledge. I highly recommend this solace to everyone!
A wonderful collection. The rock collection is actually of a high class. The buildings and displays are varied and comfortable to pass through. The house has solid walnut trimmings with glass imported from France. One bed covering was tatted by a man recuperating from war wounds.
Great place to see the older town buildings from around the area, beautifully restored!
Interesting place, nice window into the past, also has a poke gym and several poke stops.
Can't say enough about how helpful the museum guide was. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions thoroughly. The grounds and historical structures were immaculate. The covered bridge were fun to view and great for pictures. Downside - driving on the bumpy dirt roads to get to bridges may have rattled something loose on my car! Great outing for those with kids or anyone looking to get some fresh air!
