Grand Forks Station

No issues traveling out of this station, it felt safe. Two suggestions, please consider adding a clock and maybe an updating timetable or an announcement when the train is like 5 or so mins out. Lastly a daytime train originating in grand forks would be super nice.

Excellent train station. It is unstaffed, but it keeps you nice and warm during the winter.

The train is always comfortable. It's usually on time, but like every other transportation vehicle, it can run late. The station is small and unstaffed which gives you an eerie vibe of a cheap, dollar store horror movie happenings.nthe staff that get off the train to assist with exiting and entering the train are typically aggressive here. I still enjoy the train because it's way more comfortable than the bus with less layovers.

Grand Forks Station is located on outer fringe of Grand Forks City, North Dakota. The city is characterized by low population density, as is the station. The city has a lower crime rate, so one can feel relatively safer at this station. Taxis are generally available in night time too.

Just a scary place cuz it's so desolate & train only leaves going east in middle of night. And sometimes hrs!!! late! And yeah! Nothing but an open station. No one frm Amtrak on duty to help w/anything! You better call ahead for Taxi if U need B picked up & give them your name & hope no one takes it b4 U! There is an 800 # U can keep calling to see if & whn train will be in, instead of waiting out there; sometimes HRS LATE! But whn not winter, (cuz that can be a scary ride!) if you hve to travel, check out the bus! Jefferson! Beautiful trip in the day time & always on time.
