Amanda is fantastic and provided a completely unexpected service for this salon--full with Oliaplex treatment and bayalage!✨
Went up to cashier to pay and briefly took mask down to get the HAIR THAT FELL INTO mask as I was getting a cut. She barked at me to put mask back on until I left the shop. I took it down because there was my cut hair in it and I was breathing it in. I said I was sorry did you want me to pay or not. She told me to leave the store (without paying) so that's what I did. I will NEVER return to one of these franchise places. You business owners need to calm down and take it down a notch with requiring masks every second not allowing people to catch their breath so to speak. Until it is mandated at a state or federal level I think you (small business owners) need to chill out. Until then I will be not be sending business your way. Keep it up Iowa City you are turning into a ghetto town anyway planning on moving out of here soon.
This is where I usually get my haircut and this time I got a really good cut. They were all wearing masks and seem to be very much on top of precautionary measures
I always enjoy this Cost Cutters location. I've noticed they have a new manager as well, he and the team seem to be trying very hard to keep up with the salon during this time.
I've been getting my hair cut here for the past 5 years. I never have to wait longer than 20 mins. I get the style I ask for and the stylists are always nice.nnI have also taken my disabled daughter for a couple of cuts as well and they have been more than accommodating with her needs.
