Officer Harkrider is unprofessional and doesn’t care about civil rights. He is corrupt and an embarrassment for the blue
They'll do a whole investigation about some stuff that isn't harming anyone but when you really need them expect an hour wait time. Catch them speeding around iowa city tho no reason at all just cause the have a badge so theyre better than you. Be careful people of iowa city ud83dude4f
They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and they're patrol cars are very roomy. They were also all very professional, and even read me my rights incase I forgot. Will get arrested from them again, for sure.
I was an at risk juvenile and young adult. I made mistakes and paid for them. If I hadn’t been from this town I wouldn’t know the value of those lessons.nI can’t change any of that nor can I deny that without positive support from my community and this police department I would have certainly slipped through the cracks and become a life long statistic.nThe staff are well trained, educated and cultured people. Iowa City is an amazing place to hail from, and the city government works hard to ensure that even behind the scenes, that the improvement of their citizens’ lives are the top priority. Thank You -A
