1st shift lunch (12-1) - Lead/Manager knows what he is doing but has help that doesn't understand english entirely and doesn't understand the register. I visited this location in late January and had this same issue. I decided to wait and see if the woman would get more efficient after time/training and haven't seen any improvement. The sandwich was good, but the inefficiencies with language, slow pace and issues with operating the register were below satisfactory. I really hope this location makes the proper changes soon.

The guy that helped me was super nice and efficient. My only issue is that he was playing his music in the kitchen, loudly, and was very inappropriate for the workplace. I shouldn't be hearing the N word and loads of cussing when getting a sandwich.

Just had a really awesome experience here and wanted to give my story :)nImagine, you have to figure out something quick to feed about 12 people in 15 minutes! You have had such a long and busy day you didn’t have time to order pizza or anything else and the day before was equally as busy so there was no way to plan a meal a head. You go to Hy-Vee thinking “hey maybe they have a meet and cheese tray ready” you ask the guy at the deli counter if they have anything like that “you would have to order it, but there are pre-packaged trays over in the packaged meet and cheese section” so you run back to quickly take a look... it’s a pitiful tray that wouldn’t feed a small family. So you run to Walmart hoping to find SOMETHING!!! Nope. Again you run to the deli counter to ask and yet again, you have to order it a head of time... then running out of options you think “subs... I wonder if subway would make some simple subs I could take!”nLet me tell you, the guy Mark who helped me at the counter was amazing! He was so thoughtful and actually CARED about me and the fact that I was frantically looking for a way to feed a group of 12. He called his manager John and they got me taken care of fast!!nThank you Mark for taking the time to care and help me! It’s people like you who make the world a better place ❤ufe0f
