Blaze was able to get me in very fast when I called to ask about my hair not turning out how I expected. I had a very pleasant experience, I forgot my hairdressers name but she was very sweet and took her time doing my hair. I'm not 100% where I want my hair to be as far as color and style but I think this is a good start. I like that they didn't make me feel bad because I had to go in again to get my color fixed. I will continue to get my hair done here.

I have been getting my hair done at Blaze Color Salon in Coralville for about 2-3 years now, and will never go anywhere else. My first time there I went in with a bad at home dye job in major need of being fixed. They were upfront with me right a way giving me a price overview before beginning and made sure I was okay with each part of the bill (they still give this to me if I ask for it when trying something new). The costumer service has always been above and beyond any place I have gone before, and their efforts to keep clients safe during COVID-19 attests to that. I could not recommend them enough! Also if you go ask for Emily, she is amazing :)

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Helped me transform my unhealthy box colored hair into healthy and beautiful hair again. Kenzie is great.

Alexis at the coralville location is very professional, takes her time and truly cares about her clients. My husband needed a last minute haircut the night before an event for work and we happened to walk in and Alexis was available and able to get him in right away. He stated she was thorough and went above and beyond. My only suggestion would be to have a higher tipping choice when using a card :) overall highly recommend the salon and Alexis!

Went in 6 months ago for a toner, the stylist was super sweet but left my hair looking slightly green, she called it mossy but it was green... Decided I was going to let it washout because I didnt have time to go in and get it fixed. Yesterday I went in again, hoping for better luck. Got the same sweet stylist, she was nice and professional. I told her I wanted highlights but she suggested a foliage (it's more expensive). I agreed, because this hair appointment was my mothers day present and I wanted my hair to look amazing. When she was done, she told me that due to COVID19 I would only be able to have my hair towel dried in the salon. My damp hair looked ok, I get home and dry my hair super excited to see the finished look. My hair looks orange/yellow, theres no dimension, doesnt look anything like the stylist said it would. Spent $200 dollars on this, called and the owner was very nice and professional. They will get me in this week to fix it. I will update my review when this happens, in the mean time I will keep my orange hair up in a bun.
