now this school isn't as new as some of the other schools in the Waukee District, but new doesn't always mean better. My son absolutely loves going to school here. The teachers are great and you can tell how much the students loved every single one of them. The only downside to the school is its location. West Des Moines made the mistake of having large Apartments being built over looking the play yard, about 300 yards from the school and a hotel. I think if I would have paid more attention as to what what was going to be built, I probably would have had a petition started. Anyway that shouldn't detract from all the other great things about the school. If you're moving to the area and you find a place near Jordan Creek mall, most likely your children will be going to Brookview. I think they're going to like it there.
Yeah, this school is absolutely terrible, don't send your kids to this gulag. Me and my mother were often looked at differently because we did not have as much money as everyone else did. This school is a great example of how terrible public schools really are, this is why all schools need to be privatized.
