The owner, Sara was super nice and got me in immediately! She explained all of the color options and what they would like before applying. I felt at ease and totally comfortable with her as a stylist. She was extremely easy to talk to which makes the time go a lot faster! Along with that she explained all of the products she was putting in my hair but I didn't feel any pressure to purchase them. I would highly recommend!
Sara made me feel very comfortable and confident when I came to her for a cut and highlight. I am always nervous with a new stylist, like most women, but I also have very curly and frizzy hair naturally so it makes it even harder to find a stylist that knows my concerns and how to handle my hair.nnSara has similar hair and has worked on such a variety of textures that she was confident which calmed me so much! Plus she is super easy to talk to and makes the experience so relaxing. My hair turned out soft, smooth, bouncy, and I loved the color of highlights. One of the best in Des Moines.nnSeriously, for all my curl girls out there. Look no further.
I have been a client of Salon de Vallon for a few years, and I have experienced excellent service every time. Sarah is an expert at everything she does, and I can honestly say that I've never had better haircuts. Sarah believes in customer service: if you are ever disappointed with your hair (which you won't be), Sarah will work with you until you are happy. I found Salon de Vallon through Groupon, and I've never thought of going anywhere else since.nnSarah and the Salon have my unqualified endorsement.
