Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wonderful local historical treasure!
Beautiful house, impressively maintained, articulate and educated tour guide. I hadn't realized how much Moorhead was connected with St. Paul. It was a bit chill out; the house was quite warm. We did not walk the grounds, which were large though rather plain.

A great stop for history and architecture lovers. Call ahead and get a guided tour through this house from a very knowledgeable member of the Minnesota Historical Society.nnBuilt in the 1800s, you can see original furnishings and hear the stories of the Comstocks who lived here (spoiler alert: the Comstock ladies were pretty awesome).nnThey do special events on the lawn in the summer, a Nooks and Crannies Flashlight tour around Halloween and some Christmas events during the holidays.
