Commercial Development and Maintenance

Terrible experience dealing with them. Had them replace my water heater under home warranty and was still charged $380 out of pocket. My Water Heater was under warranty as well which I was never told until my Realtor looked it up. Both the Home warranty and CDM would blame it on the other person. It would have been cheaper going through another company and without home warranty. I was charged $140 for permit that cost $56 and you can register online, $90 for earthquake strap which they would not reuse my old one, and $90 for sediment trap which again had to be new even though there was nothing wrong with the old one. Overall terrible experience dealing with Old Republic Home Warranty and Terrible experience dealing with CDM. If you get referred to them under home warranty either request a new contractor or take the cash out option, it will be cheaper. Stay away...... Update........... In response to owner, can you show me where it is part of the clark county's code to replace an existig earthquake strap and sediment tank in good working condition? Seems more of a sales tatic to push additional items on to the consumer. If this is part of your company policy then every consumer that needs a water heater will have at min an additional $180 in charges plus a $140 for a permit that cost $56. This is not including the actual labor or water heater.
