Henderson International School

School staff is great, I like the school as well. But this school gives out way too much homework!! My daughter is in 3rd grade and they do 4th grade work, not only my daughter struggling to learn, but this ridiculous amount of work on top is just too much! I don't have time to do her homework.... I am far too busy. Maybe it's for parents that don't work.

The Administrators and staff are intuitive and genuine. My daughter will thrive in her future endeavors thanks to such a lovely staff. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

The school is awesome I went there for 3rd grade and it was awesome

Do not send your kids to this school. My youngest son was in preschool there , so I signed up my 2 older children the following year for elementary and middle school because I wanted to have all my kids going to school in one place. Big mistake . Henderson international school has no curriculum to follow , so each teacher is teaching whatever they feel like... No program what so ever . Middle school has no homework, no tests, no final exams. No real assignments also. I know it's sounds surprising that a school would have kids doing nothing all day and hard to believe, but it's true. My 6th grader spent the first 3 month of school drawing a poster in math class . Complete nonsense. Also, there is no real grades . They have a different grading system. Your child would be graded as below expectations, approaching expectations or meeting expectations or exceeding expectation . Which is very confusing for both children and parents as there is no real indication for how good or bad student did on the assignment . This is 4 grades only ! Public school grades are from 1-100...After I moved all my kids to a school we zoned for , they had to spent first few month just to catch up with public school curriculum . If you notice , all other positive reviews are done by parents of the younger kids . Mostly preschool . It's easy to know what to teach to little ones without curriculum or administration guidance . Once the kids learned how to read and basic math skills no one knows what to do with them anymore . Every year this school steadily looses students . By middle school lots of parents already realizing that school is bad and move they kids . By the end of the middle school program they have only few students left in 8th grade . This is best indication the school is bad. Most parents don't like to move they kids schools unless they feel that they have too . Most of the kids that's went to Henderson international at the same time with my kids were moved to different schools. As parents , we want to give our kids the best if we able too and if we pay for school that is expensive and not many can afford to go to, we think that we are giving our children better education . In this case however , you will be paying for way inferior education to public school .
