Great staff with years of talent behind them. Got me in quickly for and appointment and I walked out looking great. Defiantly recommend and will be back!
I found Salon West through the online reviews - haven't had great luck with many places in Ames, and have been putting off getting a cut. I called in for a next day appointment, and the owner, Barb, was able to fit me in. She was fantastic! Talked to me about what I wanted, listened to what I was asking for, pulled up some pictures to have a visual, discussed the texture of my hair, how I styled it typically, and talked me through lengths. She'd ask my input as she moved through the process, ensuring I knew what was happening. And she was wonderful to speak to as well!
