We have sent our son to Waterloo Christian School since kindergarten and have been thankful for his time there. Waterloo Christian School partners with us as parents to teach our son a Biblical worldview. The staff respects and honors our decisions as his parents to raise him in the way we believe is best for him. Not every child or every family is the same, but we believe that Waterloo Christian School does their best to partner with each family to meet their individuals needs.nnThe class sizes are small and the teachers are kind and caring. I have appreciated how well he has learned to read and write. People often compliment him on his handwriting when he makes cards or writes letters to friends and family. He also has developed an appreciation for books and I attribute that to his time at Waterloo Christian School. He reads in every free moment he gets.nnThere are also financial aid opportunities for families who need the assistance. If you aren't sure if you should send your children, I want to encourage you to schedule a visit and see what a typical school day looks like. If you aren't sure if you can afford it (we were definitely in this boat), you can always apply and see if you qualify for financial aid.nnWe believe that our time and money have been well spent at Waterloo Christian School and look forward to what the future holds.
My son started PreK last year at Waterloo Christian. We absolutely love it! He loves his teachers who have a great curriculum and teach the values that I try to teach at home. It's so nice to have a place where my child can have the values I teach reiterated on a daily basis.
