Windermere Prestige Properties Lake Las Vegas Resort Rentals

Me and my wife recently stayed at Viera for a few days. Raymond met us in the lobby with the keys and parking info. He was amazing, he went above and beyond in showing us the facilities, giving us info that would help us during our stay, and took his time and never rushed or hurried us through the process. He was a great start to a wonderful stay. The unit we stayed in(#410) was furnished beautifully, the view was breathtaking and far exceeded the pics online. It was quiet and peaceful, truely magical. Just a quick walk takes you right to the village with all the restaurants, bars, shops, and the waterfront. I highly recommend this property, try to get unit #410 and you won't be disappointed. And with Raymond there to help, you're sure to have a great experience.

Not a great experience overall. Condo itself was actually quite lovely. With plenty of room and appeared as advertised. My one star is related to the property itself. First, the lakefront never had anyone there to rent any of the water equipment. NO ONE! We went to the marina to rent a canoe/kayak, on 3 different mornings without luck, even though the sign AND the advertisement stated they opened at 8am. Also, much hype is given about the fact that there were shops and restaurants in the Lake Las Vegas property. Nope, if there were they weren't open in the mornings. The pool hot tub (Jacuzzi) was broken when we arrived and remained unusable our entire visit. When we spoke to some of the residents, we were told that the spa had been unusable for months! So, now, 2 of the reasons we chose this property were not available. The TV in the living area was connected to the wifi incorrectly, do until we were able to figure it out we we're without a TV in the living room. Our calls to the service rep went unanswered that night. We rented a unit that advertised a washer/dryer IN the unit. Another reason we chose that particular unit, was broken. No sign, no notice (it was obviously broken prior to our arrival.) just soggy clothes that didn't spin. When speaking to the "concierge" we were told to use the public laundry facilities. All in all a painful, expensive experience that was so poor that we will never again attempt to rent from VBRO, AirBNB, or any other home away company.
