I have 2 kids with naturally curly hair, and Monica did wonders cutting their hair! She not only cut their hair, but she gave great tips on how to handle the hair, moisturize and style it while making it look super cute! She is so friendly and talked with the kids. We had a great experience and will definitely be going back!
Monica is great with kids. I have a 6, 4, and 2 year old. My boys used to cry when they would get haircuts, but now look forward to their appointments. My oldest doesn't like certain textures and sounds and she made him feel at ease. She is very patient with them and explains what she is going to do next. She always does a quick style for my daughter that she loves. They feel comfortable, actually sit still, and leave with great hair cuts. Wins all around!
We've had the best experiences with Monica at Dandy Lion Cuts for Kids! She treats our kids like real people, engages in conversations, and asks what they want. She is so patient and understanding, and our children love going to see her. Bonus - she just gave our curly-haired nine-year-old the best haircut ever! I would recommend Monica and Dandy Lion to anyone and everyone.
Couldn't have picked a better place to bring the little one to get his first cut! Definitely recommend! It was such a stress free experience for me and my little one was so distracted with Monica's creative conversations he was done in no time!
