I have lived at Cascades for a few months and I’ve had the best experience with this company! I’ve rented from other places and I did not feel welcome. Fargo rents has made my apartment my home and has answered all maintenance requests in a timely manner. The manager is very informative and I would highly recommend!!

We rented from Fargo Rents (at Whispering Pines) for the last 4 years. We absolutely loved living there and they were always wonderful to deal with. The apartment was brand new and we were the first tenant in our unit. The price of rent was a great value (spacious, washer and dryer in unit, 2-stall garage). The few maintenance issues we had were quick to be resolved. Michelle was always friendly, helpful and efficient. Even after we turned in our notice, the team stayed friendly and gave adequate notice for showings. We would still be there if we hadn't purchased a house. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been living in the cascades since June of this year and it’s a beautiful place to live. Large apartment and very spacious. I also really like the fact we have garages. I’ve had several issues though when we first moved in. They never painted over the previous owners paint job as there is patches of paint from where I’m assuming holes were from where they hung decor up. They did offer to paint the walls but it was after the fact of when we were moved in. So painting an apartment with all our boxes and furniture in it was out of the question. The carpets were not cleaned whatsoever and our vacuum was full of hair and dirt and we had to clean the carpets ourselves. We had to vacuum three times over our carpets just to get everything out. There is also a bleach stain in the carpet that was never fixed from the previous owner. The carpet is torn up in certain places from what looked like a cat previously. We’ve had the power go out 3 times in our building within the past two months. Our dishwasher was not working properly or our dryer in our laundry room. After about 2-3 weeks our dryer was fixed. We ended up fixing the dishwasher ourselves by cleaning it to be the best of our knowledge. Our garage also was not working properly the first week we moved in. Both our bathtub drains were so clogged from long blonde hair from the previous renter as well it was nasty having to clean it and pull it out ourselves. Aside from our apartment not being cleaned and fixed from when we moved in. Everything else has been okay. The apartment manager is quick to text back regarding any issues which is very helpful. Besides the initial move in, everything has been okay.

BEWARE OF SCAMS AND GET ANYTHING THEY SAY IN WRITING IF YOU RENT FROM THEM!! Had a very poor experience following our move out. We were moving out a month before our lease ended and planned to just keep our lease active to avoid extra fees. When we told the office this, they strongly encouraged us to break the lease (likely because it would be easier to rent the place out in August rather than the end of September and then they would get more money). What got us to change our mind was when they told us we would not have to pay the free 2 months back if we broke our lease, since that promotion was no longer offered. So, we broke our lease and two months later we received our final balance expecting a check for the rest of our deposit and they had charged us for the free two months on top of the $300 re-rental fee for a total of over $2,100. They then said it was our fault and tried to get us to pay it so that they could milk even more money out of us. It took me threatening a lawsuit against them for them to even consider not charging us for all of it. We ended up settling to pay one month just to avoid going to court. In the end, they still made more than $1,200 more off of the situation than they would've if they hadn't lied and said we wouldn't have to pay the 2 free months back. The owner is greedy and the front office people refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes and have no problem lying to tenants to get more money. The only positive from our time there was that Campus Edge III Apartments were great and the apartment manager, Brenda, did a great job. Also, good luck ever getting ahold of anybody in the office, they rarely answer their phones and never call back when you leave a message. We will not be renting from them again and I strongly suggest not giving them your business and letting them take advantage of you just because they can. If you do rent from them, good luck...nUPDATE: They are now trying to charge use $300 in late fees on an extra garage we rented for months that were not even included on the lease agreement. I can honestly say I have never dealt with a more greedy, unprofessional company.

You can never get a hold of anyone who works here. Always had a broken down car parked in my spot. Don’t think about getting your deposit back either. Money hungry, and they don’t care about their tenants well being. I had many incidents with a drunk who dwelled over people. He would wait infront of my door, and I would have to peak under the door to make sure it was safe to go out. He claimed “he was the manager” oh okay. These people make me want to vomit.
