Don't even bother. Picturesque house with an intriguing history, but don't count on getting to visit it. Their neglected website claims you can visit on Sundays through late September, but you're unlikely to find anyone there. You can try calling first (I found three separate numbers I tried), but you won't get an answer. I understand they are dependent on volunteers, but inaccurate information is no solution. I wish places like this would just admit they are more-or-less by reservation only. A shame. With a little staffing and a touch of advertising or website management (even their facebook page is uninformative, come on!), they'd really have something. Instead, it's just another neglected house.
