Massage Envy

Management and front desk service very poor- I ended my membership sometime around February and had a number of unused services. Due to the COVID pandemic, those services were cancelled and put on hold. Before they were canceled, I requested to make sure I didn’t lose those services due to COVID and having to reschedule. I was told that I’d have “plenty of time” and that “as long as I come in before the end of the year”, I’d be totally fine. After they reopened sometime in June, my sister wanted to use those services for herself. I was told by two locations that a transfer would be fine- despite the expired membership. My sister and I proceeded to book a massage appointment for her with no issues. On the day of her scheduled appointment, I reached out to confirm my sister’s appointment but was surprisingly told by the female manager at 45th that all my services expired and I have no more services left. She also said transfers don’t work with expired memberships. She then went into detail about different COVID “protocols”, even though I was informed of none. When I told her I was frustrated with the miscommunication and lack of communication, she repeatedly laughed at me. Such was absolutely not okay, and completely unprofessional. I will add that even though someone talks in a slow and sweet voice, that doesn’t mean that what they’re saying is kind or thoughtful.nBy the end of it, my sister wasn’t able to get the massage she booked 3 weeks ago.nAdditionally, throughout my membership year/lease, I had numerous issues with payments and communication.nI greatly dislike posting bad reviews, but felt compelled to say something. I would not recommend Message Envy on 45th.nThe massage therapists were great however- nothing against them!

Had a great massage with Gabby! If you need some serious work done she's the one to see. Told them I was hurting and they got me in the next day.

I love love love love love seeing the therapists there. Its such a relaxing experience every time. Would so so so so recommend!

I've been a member of massage envy for over a year and usually have good experiences with them. However in the last 2-3 weeks I've had TWO massages cancelled with an hour or less of notice because the therapist (Gabby both times) couldn't make it. If I cancel as a client with less than 24 hours notice I'm penalized. Yet when I'm given half hours notice, like today, nothing is done for me. After talking with a friend who goes there too, sounds like it's a pattern with Gabby...

Thank you to Audrey for providing an outstanding 90 min session! I feel great! She upgrading me to detox aromatherapy and an exfoliating foot treatment which was so luxurious!
