I stumble across an ad that they were hiring some marketing specialists and it’s not a company that I would recommend working for.nnI worked there for a couple of weeks a while ago , when I was have a rough month with my own company so I decided it would be a cool idea to get a part time job as a marketing helper. When I started I always had trouble clocking in, I came in time, about 5 minutes before they open but the Manager (also their “marketing” manager) always came 10 minutes late, once she even got 45 minutes late and I had to wait without clocking.nI thought I was going to learn something from their marketing specialist but she didn’t even have a clue of what marketing is... They didn’t have any branding stablished for their company, merchandise or any value content on their social media, they just did cold calling and the way that they found leads was just googling and calling every business. They didn’t even have any material to help close the deal with the potential leads, I’m talking about an online brochure, a branded email or anything EVERYTHING WAS JUST BY PHONE... and once you got the leads the manager would “take care of it”. But I said maybe this is a new marketing challenge and I tried to talk about it with the owners which at the end they just told me to talk with the manager (the same girl who had no clue of what to do...). You don’t really have to believe what I write just take a look on their social media with post with not value and reaching as high as 0 likes and 0 comments per post (their most liked post had 8 likes) as of today July 28 2020 or their website which it’s not user friendly at all and it looks like someone just bought a website generator and post it. With no brand concept or anything of value to their company, you can tell the hard work that the business owners had to do for their company was mainly their word to mouth marketing, it’s just a slap to the face that they don’t realize A SECRETARY ITS NOT A MARKETING SPECIALIST...nnThe problem started after they switched locations (I even helped moving even tho that wasn’t my job at all) and they were switching from their regular clock in to an app clock in. After the transition was made I was told I was going to get a message regarding my new schedule but even tho I tried to contact the manager for about 4 days texting twice a day about my new schedule and even try to contact her by phone (but hey we were closed so she didn’t even bother about the schedule of her employee...) I got no answer until 4 hours before they close telling me to come ASAP and that she forgot to text me back about my new schedule. I politely declined because I scheduled a quick visit to my dentist (and was already there) because I didn’t have a confirmation before. The next day I was a little bit upset and even thought about putting up my resignation letter because I didn’t like the way that the manager handle things, not any company had treated me so unprofessionally, but just my luck I got fired for not showing up the day before ud83dude05ud83dude05nnFor this reasons I will tell you to reconsider if you are picking a marketing job for this company. You could actually learn something from their owners but it’s too bad they have an incompetent person in charge. If you are looking for their services and not to work for them, the business owners do a good job on cleaning and sanitize every inch of your business, it’s just that as a employee it’s not a good place to work, stay or learn.
