Quiet atmosphere with great service. Seating is open but isolated enough where you get to still enjoy conversation. Food is decently priced, great presentation and serving size. Themed drinks were tasty as well. Definitely a spot to check out at least once.
Based on the many positive reviews on google my sister and I were excited to try the dishes. I ordered the fish taco (with flounder) and she ordered the veggie empanada. We went in for a pick up order and even with masks on could smell a repulsive, sewer-like odor throughout the restaurant. We sustained our disgust and took the food home despite the smell. We started out with guacamole and chips which were actually not bad. However, the flounder taco absolutely stank like stale period blood. I tried a small piece and it was completely flavorless, even though a horrible odor was coming off of it. My sister's veggie empanada and rice had no seasoning in it. I did not make it beyond my first bite. My sister tried to eat her food, but ultimately had to throw it out too. We hoped the churros we ordered would at least be okay, but they were rock hard and clearly over-fried. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Unfortunately haven’t had the chance to personally dine here but luckily I got a chance to try their delicious food as takeout. It was kindly donated to the Yale staff ED last week and let me tell you - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I had the pork arepa and it was amazing. The flavours and the tenderness of the pork was incredible. I’ve never had sweet corn cake till this meal and it was to die for. Nice balance of sweet and cheesy. Everything was very well seasoned and cook. I’m so glad I got a chance to try your food.
The flavor is incredible. Got the pollo arepas and just wow!
