A really great family owned cleaners. They do great work. All of my good clothes are cleaned here.
Willing to go the extra mile to support customer's needs. I don't need much dry cleaned, but when I do, I go to George's.
I dropped off 3 items Monday morning after leaving work and said I would pick up on Friday. Stop in this Friday morning for pick up and I am told the clothes won’t be ready until after 4pm. The lady said she would have said that Monday but i do not recollect her saying that, she said she’s been saying it for 15 years. I said if i known i would’ve then said Thurs so i could pick friday morning. i don’t live near the cleaner, i work nights and it’s close to work (other side of town). 1) if she’s been saying after 4p on requested day for 15yrs, maybe she’s saying it too fast for it to be clear to the customer. That weird detail should be in big bold on the ticket. It is not. 2) who does that? any dry cleaner i’ve been to the day you request for pick up it’s ready at any time, starting at opening cuz any other cleaners do it in the days beforehand!! not wait until requested pick up day to start!! they’ve had it for 4 full business days and didn’t work ahead? seriously? 3) why should someone have to say they want it on thursday just so they can pick it up friday morning? does that make sense? not a good business practice. and for the prices they charge, it shouldn’t be this inconvenient. i will not be back. The lady is rude and their operating policies need adjusted.
Very good experience. Not the cheapest but competitively priced. It's always nice to support smaller business instead of chains.
