Top Notch Dry Cleaning

NEVER EVER TRUST KEVIN DONADIO (OWNER) OR HIS SON (DAVID)!! Worst customer service experience in my life. I brought my grandmother's beautiful cape mink coat bought from the original Kramer's fur store in New Haven, CT which was an heirloom and barely worn, kept protected in a closet (NOT a basement or attic) which I planned to wear on my wedding on 09/12/20 and it was completely mishandled/destroyed. Initially, I spoke to David on the phone who ensured me they had cleaned mink before and it did not need to be sent out for special care. I brought the cape down to the store and he said it was in good condition and would be ready with no problem in a couple days. I arrived back several days later encountering owner Kevin Donadio (his father) who seemed very angry with David for telling me the coat would be ready so soon. He rudely asked me to return back the following Monday-Tuesday (because he was scrambling to fix my already ruined mink cape by checking with his fur courier when they were arriving to the store next) but was unsuccessful. I arrived back again to pick up my cape and encountered David who then brought my cape to me completely destroyed. Giant holes were created by their machines and burnt edges with mink falling off. I never received an apology once or urgency to resolve the issue. I was accused of having the jacket repaired before when my grandmother is still alive to confirm it is has not been. I never once received a called back from Kevin or his son David. Instead, they threw the issue onto Top Notch Cleaners in Branford who did everything they could to fix my cape before my wedding. Unfortunately, my cape is still ruined with chunks of mink falling off and holes. The owner Kevin or David never ONCE owned up to their mistake or complete lies. Kevin was rude, loud, condescending, and the absolute worst owner I have ever experienced and his son David is inadequate in understanding his business. I trusted Top Notch Cleaners Wallingford with a cherished family heirloom and relied on them for their expertise and wisdom in the business for a very special day of mine, but was beyond devastated. NEVER EVER GO HERE!!!!!!!

I don't know about this Jessie Girl but the customer service and product at Top Notch out does the rest, at a price that cant be beat. They were so accommodating to my needs and were happy to get it done. As for clothes being smelly, they have a new Green dry cleaning machine that doesn't have that nasty chemical smell that other dry cleaners have, so there was no smell what so ever! must work for a local competitor

Great place. They do a good job and very friendly. Price is reasonable.

We use Top Notch every day at our hotel. They are professional and prompt. If there is ever an issue they are responsive and quick to work towards a resolution.
