Thank you for keeping our town and schools safe, responding to medical and traffic accidents and putting your life on the line daily for the citizens of Woodbury. It is greatly appreciated.
I rate the Woodbury police with the lowest rating. We were pulled over by a disgruntled traffic cop for no apparent reason. Frans Dielemans was in his car scanning passing cars for DMV infractions. He had read our DMV records incorrectly, he refused to show us documentation of what he was charging and proceeded to embellish his statements to us with threats of fees, fines, taxes and even incarceration. We showed him we were insured and begged him to let us pull into a safer parking area. He showed no concern for our safety and our pets safety as he continued to have our vehicle towed. The DMV staff researched the records and said there was no issue to justify his charges. Multiple calls to the Woodbury Police department were deflected to others with no resolution. Still I had to go to Court. You can imagine my relief when the Prosecutor took one look at the case and threw it out! I said but what do I do now? Just leave. For the record, Sgt Roden, was no help. He said they would not reimburse me for the $93.59 towing charges either. Woodbury, you've got police issues for sure. If this is how citizens are treated your Antique Trail will indeed become antique...

The only good cop left in that department is George. You guys aren't here to help the community... you're here to enforce state law. You're nothing more than mindless puppets. My entire family left woodbury because of your militant presence. Real hero's are emt's and firefighters. I came to visit the town I grew up in and not even 2 days into my visit I try to go to the hollow park to enjoy a walk by the river and get immediately profiled and interrogated by a state trooper and town cop. You guys are a discrase to real police officers like George. He was a genuine guy that truly looked out for the community. The new guys just want to generate revenue for the department and don't care how many struggling families they have to screw over to do it. Me, and many others have lost any bit of respect left for you guys.
